The Casa Hamilton is an industrial ruin that was used to pump fresh water from nearby springs to banana plantations. The building actually housed the first steam engine on the island of Tenerife. However, due to declining prices for fruits and vegetables soon the pump wasn't profitable anymore and it was abandoned. With its beautiful location and its nice architecture it is a remarkable and hidden gem to visit.
